A2:
Yes. All-in-Wonder® 9700 PRO has so many advanced features that it requires an additional power connection to attain maximum performance from the graphics card. When installing the All-in-Wonder® 9700 PRO graphics card it also requires connection to your PC's internal power supply for operation. A 300W power supply or greater is recommended to ensure normal system operation where a number of other internal devices are installed.

AGP 2X and 4X operation is also supported for systems / motherboards which do not offer 8X compatibility.

Q4: Is there a PCI version of the All-in-Wonder®9700 PRO?

A4: No. The All-in-Wonder® 9700 PRO is available as an AGP 2X/4X/8X card.

A5: No. All-in-Wonder® 9700 PRO graphics card is not memory upgradeable.

Q10: Can the All-in-Wonder® 9700 PRO graphics card support more than one display at the same time?

A10: Yes. All-in-Wonder® 9700 PRO allows a number of possible display configurations. The DVI-I connector can be used to drive a DVI display or VGA monitor. At the same time, the video output can drive a TV, HDTV or VCR.

Q11: Is the All-in-Wonder 9700 PRO as fast as the Radeon 9700 PRO graphics card?

A11: The All-in-Wonder 9700 PRO is clocked at the same speeds as the Radeon 9700 PRO at 310 MHz (memory) and 325 MHz (engine).

Q12: Is the All-in-Wonder 9700 PRO a DTV receiver? Can I connect to a DTV ready television?

A12: The All-in-Wonder 9700 PRO is an analog TV Tuner, capable of receiving broadcast NTSC (or PAL/SECAM signals in Europe). However, the Radeon 9700 PRO chip is capable of decoding DTV and outputting component output YPrPb. This solution if implemented would require a DTV tuner to provide a transport stream.

Q13: What is mulTView? What is required to enable mulTView?

A13: MulTView technology allows users to control dual TV input feeds and provides users with Picture in Picture functionality, independent channel surfing on two distinct TV screens and many other advanced features. To enable mulTView on your system, you will require a TV WONDER VE or a TV WONDER card, in addition to your All-in-Wonder 9700 PRO card. Other accessories that you will need, include a distinct cable feed for each of the cards and an audio internal wire.

Q14: Will Multimedia Center 8.0 be made available for owners of the older All-in-Wonder cards?

A14: Multimedia Center 8.0 will only support the new product release. However, MMC 8.1 will bring all the new functionality of MMC 8.0 to support legacy cards. Therefore owners of the older All-in-Wonder cards can look forward to having MMC 8.1 made available to them in spring 2003.

Q15: Can I connect a DV camcorder to this card? Digitally or Analog?

A15: Yes, through an analog connection as there is no DV port on the All-in-Wonder 9700 PRO card.
